Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team. As a key member, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete general servicing tasks on Heavy Vehicles, including Volvo and Isuzu trucks and various trailer types and configurations.
  • Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III).
  • Driver's License.
  • HR/HC License.
  • Previous industry related experience in transport and/or mining industry (desirable).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a high standard of work ethic.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Experience servicing and maintenance of heavy vehicle trucks and trailers.
  • Knowledge of working to outlined servicing and maintenance schedules.
  • Previous diagnostic investigation experience.
  • Be able to maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures.
  • Be able to maintain quality and urgency in your work.
