The Role

We seek an exceptional Ecommerce Sales Executive to join our growing team. Elsner is a successful business with Ecommerce development, maintenance, and support services.

You will have a hunger to win new business, be passionate about digital commerce, and have knowledge and experience within the retail industry. Using your outstanding B2B & B2C sales expertise, you will engage with key strategic clients to close deals professionally. You will implement consultative sales skills to communicate and negotiate with decision-makers of Australian SMBs and E-commerce business owners in the Jewellery, Tiles, Furniture, and Fashion industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel across Australia to generate interests through networking and conferences, with support from our outreach team.
  • Proactively identify and chase new business leads within manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and wholesale sectors, specifically ecommerce solutions seekers.
  • Responsible for new business development in the AU & NZ market.
  • Achieve targets and chase them down on a timely basis.
  • Handover new clients to the account management team regularly.
  • Plan and execute acquiring MQLS, SQLs, and converting them to new clients with the Marketing Head & Sales Director.
Ideal Profile

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • A genuine passion for retail, technology, and e-commerce solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Master's Degree is a bonus.
  • 2+ years experience in Sales & Business Development "hunting", ideally in a strategic and consultative style sales role.
  • Experience in face-to-face interaction and negotiation with executive decision-makers within top companies (B2B & B2C's) in Australia.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and excellent presentation skills with customers and senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Familiarities with retail, marketplace, and e-commerce experience is a strong plus. Enthusiasm for these areas is a must.
  • Skills to thrive in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
  • Results & financially driven, analytical, self-motivated & a "hands-on" person with proven ability to meet objectives and exceed targets.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team – although the role will see the person interacting with many levels and across several subject areas, this person must be able to self-manage and show initiative by being proactive.
  • A great sense of humor & fun to work with.
