We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Executive Search Professional to join our team at Heidrick & Struggles. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in the execution of all facets of the executive recruiting lifecycle, from candidate identification to placement.
About the RoleThis is a highly visible position with significant responsibility, offering an excellent career track for those who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work closely with expert Search Partners & Principals (Consultants) and connect with team members across all levels of the Search team.
Responsibilities- Research & Writing: Conduct industry-specific and client company research, mapping the executive talent landscape to bring market insights to the table. Support Consultants in developing position specifications and focused search strategies. Assist Consultants in preparing business development and candidate assessment documents.
- Internal and External Communication: Contact prospective candidates to elicit interest in client opportunities, obtain referrals, and/or collect market intelligence and feedback. Assist Consultants in conducting in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications against position specifications. Manage candidate relationships throughout the entire life cycle of the search.

- Ethics & Quality: Maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all Search information in internal and external research tools. Complete high-quality deliverables on time and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- 3-4 years' professional experience or a minimum of 2 years transferable recruiting experience.
- An undergraduate BA/BS degree is required.
- Exhibits skill and developing mastery of professional communications, displaying adeptness in writing, articulating, and delivering information with confidence and impact.
- Developing the ability to collaborate effectively with external clients and candidates, and beginning to understand techniques to influence and build positive relationships.
- Prior experience in full life cycle recruiting in Executive Search, Contingent Search, or In-House Talent Acquisition, management consulting, or other industries requiring applied sales and research skills strongly preferred.
- Experience targeting potential candidates, developing pitch materials, and conducting market research.
- Proven success simultaneously managing multiple projects and working across teams.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and synthesize large volumes of information into insights.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM.
- Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $70,000. We also provide opportunities for career growth, professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
