Cyber Security Architect Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join our team and play a key role in defining and governing the cybersecurity architecture for all OT projects and enterprise integrations.

This is a challenging position that requires embedding secure-by-design and secure-by-default principles to ensure every solution elevates the enterprise's cybersecurity posture, meets regulatory expectations, and aligns with the organization's risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic alignment: Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure all designs align with the overall roadmap and strategy.
  • Architectural modeling: Develop and iterate on both logical and physical models for systems architectures.
  • Solution evaluation: Assess and select the best architectural solutions, documenting the rationale for all decisions.
  • Technical leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the program teams.
  • Program communication: Help develop and execute a communication strategy to engage staff and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a systems architect in complex technology and/or cybersecurity projects.
  • 10+ years in OT, ICS, or control systems environments, with at least 5 in a dedicated architecture or security design role.
  • Experience securing critical infrastructure (e.g., transport, rail, energy, utilities, industrial automation).
  • Deep familiarity with network and system architecture, OT protocol security, remote access hardening, and segmentation strategies.
  • Certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, SABSA, CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF (with security focus), or SANS ICS 410/515 are highly desirable.
  • Experience contributing to architecture governance boards, risk forums, and program design reviews.
