Our company requires a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of materials and goods between sites and suppliers. The successful candidate will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and be able to coordinate inputs from various internal and external stakeholders.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our logistics processes. This involves working closely with freight & warehouse personnel and other internal and external stakeholders to facilitate an efficient logistics operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and book cargo with shipping companies to coordinate and manage the import and export of materials/goods.
  • Ensure all freight activities are undertaken in an ethical, efficient, and effective manner that complies with legislation.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, customs agents, shipping companies, freight services, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials/goods.
  • Manage documentation flow, including packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and licenses.
  • Maintain records of all shipments and freight to track status, cost, and both national and international requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications in logistics or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience across logistics coordinator roles with a focus on import and export.
  • Proven knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures, as well as an understanding of international documentation requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
