About the role
We're looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join our Global Payroll Operations team as we expand globally.
This role will own operational aspects across the Asia Pacific region, including tax, superannuation, CPF resolution, communication with government agencies, and collaboration with R&D teams and external partners.
You'll drive issue resolution, communicate with customers, and work closely with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure our natively built payroll software supports key payroll and tax compliance requirements.
- Assist with monthly payroll tax filings and payments throughout APAC
- Execute routine audits on STP filings and superannuation payments for Australian customers
- Manage monthly CPF filings and payments for Singapore customers
- Assist with operational tasks in Australia and Singapore such as payday filings
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records, deductions, and tax withholdings across all APAC countries
- Drive issue resolution and communication with government agencies
- Directly engage with customers and resolve their issues
- Work closely with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams
- Experience with Australia and Singapore payroll
- Experience running payroll in APAC and familiarity with associated tax compliance requirements
- Prior involvement with tax calculations, superannuation & CPF filings and payments, and tax notice resolution with ATO, IRD, and IRAS
- Familiarity with APAC HR & Payroll law and policy
- Minimum 2+ years in global payroll tax and minimum 3+ years in a client-facing role
- Ability to manage customer support tickets
- Strong project management, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office for data analysis and task organisation
Rippling employees work on a hybrid office model, three days per week in our Sydney office.
