At Wood Plc, we are currently seeking an experienced Contracts and Procurement Lead to join our dynamic Operations team in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST).

This is a permanent role based in Perth CBD, offering a full-time / part-time (job share) arrangement. As a key member of our expanding Operations team, you will contribute to our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Energy industry. With a strong presence in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia, we enjoy long-term partnerships with prominent Energy and LNG producers.

The role offers a competitive salary package, estimated at around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy access to exclusive onsite gym facilities, coffee machines, end-of-trip facilities, and remote working options.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Commerce, Law, Supply Chain / Logistics from a recognised institution;
  • CIPS qualification (or an industry equivalent); and
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant supply chain experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrated experience in industry best practices in Subcontract Agreements and Framework Agreements;
  • Detailed knowledge of suppliers, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and terms and conditions of purchase / contract;
  • Proficiency in the use of ERP Systems (i.e. Maximo, Oracle, SAP); and
  • Commercial acumen with a solutions mindset, skilled in risk management consistent with safety and commercial requirements.
