This role plays a vital part in assisting the Coordinator Governance in delivering corporate governance functions across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing agendas and minutes, maintaining governance registers, supporting elected members, and ensuring organisational compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Prepare high-quality agendas and minutes for council meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date governance registers and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
- Support elected members in their roles and provide exceptional customer service
- Coverage for Records Management when required
Key responsibilities include:
- Corporate Governance Functionality: Assist the Coordinator Governance in delivering corporate governance functions.
- Agenda and Minutes Preparation: Prepare high-quality agendas and minutes for council meetings.
- Governance Register Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date governance registers.
- Elected Member Support: Support elected members in their roles.
- Records Management Coverage: Provide coverage for Records Management when required.

Requirements:
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or legal working rights

What We Offer:
- Annual cash salary up to $69,805.16 plus superannuation up to 15%
- 9-day fortnight and 19-day month options (full-time)
- 22 days annual leave
