Lead Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Boilermaker and First Class Welder.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting drawings and sketches to produce high-quality steel products in accordance with AS1554.1 standards.
- Fabricating Australian Radio Tower steel products to specification.
- Completing all quality assurance documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintaining equipment to a high standard and ensuring it is serviced regularly.
- Providing support to other fabricators as needed to ensure work activities run smoothly.
- Coaching and training less experienced welders to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Requirements:
- A strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Trade-qualified Boilermaker / First Class Welder with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in GMAW, MMAW, and GTAW welding techniques.
- Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with AS1554.1 standards and quality assurance documentation.
- Strong background in fabricating and welding steel products in similar industries.
