Special Education Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our school community as a special education teacher.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher who can deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with complex needs, including mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, autism, behavioural difficulties and emotional disturbance.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver teaching practices that cater to students' social, emotional, personal and academic learning needs.
- Implement welfare strategies for students with behavioural difficulties to promote a positive, productive and caring learning environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and members of the wider school community.
- Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage programs that provide opportunities for students beyond the classroom.
Important Note: An unconditional full approval to teach is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach, you must commence the application process at the same time as applying for this role.
