This role requires a highly skilled and dedicated medical specialist to conduct independent assessments of veterans' health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with the ability to analyze medical records and synthesize data.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze comprehensive medical records through a secure web portal.
- Conduct thorough, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
- Complete and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
- Ensure that all DBQs are accurate and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
- Motivated to perform independent medical assessments in a non-treating, investigative role.
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing complex data from medical records and physical assessments.
- Skilled in managing time effectively, completing tasks within deadlines, and maintaining a focus on quality.
- Comfortable and efficient in digital documentation and record review.
