Key Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Asset Manager to contribute to the planning, analysis, and execution of asset management strategies. This role involves working closely with OEMs, subcontractors, and customers to ensure capability is sustained through the entire system lifecycle.

The Asset Manager will play a key role in the acquisition and sustainment of critical Security systems within a fast-paced, demanding and time-sensitive environment. The role offers flexible working options and a 9 Day Fortnight.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and delivering asset management activities across acquisition projects and lifecycle refresh programs.
  • Developing and maintaining Asset Management Plans, Lifecycle Models, and supporting documentation for current and future contracts.
  • Managing obsolescence responsibilities, including analysis, customer communication, and costed corrective action planning.
  • Conducting asset management and ILS analyses including Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RMA) modelling, Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Maintenance task and spares analysis, and Asset condition assessment.
  • Providing input into contract scoping, project planning, system design, and implementation.
  • Managing lifecycle budgets, forecasts, and reporting requirements.
  • Liaising with OEMs and suppliers, reviewing technical publications and ILS documentation.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 55001).
Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and associated analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of system engineering, safety engineering, and configuration management.
  • Experience in security industry standards and technologies.
  • Familiarity with LSA and R&M analysis tools.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to liaise confidently with senior internal and external representatives.
Qualifications and Clearance

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 55001 standards and their application.
