Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a variety of areas, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social support.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualised support services to clients with varying levels of need
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing and serving meals
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Cert III in Individual Support Disability or Aged Care
  • Previous experience in the disability sector
  • A current NDIS clearance and/or Working with Children Check
  • A current Police Check (within the last 6 months)
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • An unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
