About the Role

Cook Medical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team. As a Procurement Intern, you will assist in supplier onboarding, evaluating supplier qualifications, and managing the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in integrating new suppliers and evaluating their qualifications
  • Manage the RFQ procedures to ensure optimal terms and quality
  • Develop expertise in procurement functions within a dynamic and impactful sector

Requirements

  • Business undergraduate students completing at least third year studies
  • Available for 12 weeks between November 2024 to February 2025, 38 hours per week
  • Onsite attendance at Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane
  • Clear written and verbal English comprehension and communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
