About the Role

This part-time position involves providing effective pastoral care services to residents and their families, ensuring that residents receive care appropriate to their individual needs. You will work collaboratively with the service manager and staff to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care services to residents and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the service manager and staff
  • Develop and implement pastoral care plans for residents
  • Provide a weekly Ecumenical Church service for residents of all faiths
Requirements
  • Background and qualifications in pastoral care (Clinical Pastoral Education, Theology, or Spirituality)
  • Previous pastoral experience in an aged care environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate Catholic Healthcare's values of compassion, honesty, hospitality, respect, and excellence
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
