Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household management
  • Support residents with mobility issues, including transferring and repositioning
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, ensuring residents' needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
  • Full serology required, including vaccinations for Polio, Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, Hepatitis A & B, Measles-Mumps-Rubella, Tuberculosis (TB), and Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • At least 6 months of previous experience in a similar role
  • Current 2024 Influenza Vaccination and Full Covid-19 Vaccination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Current national police check clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directives

What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
