About the Position
\As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
\The successful candidate will have experience working with automated deployment tooling and scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Bash.
\You will also be expected to drive the adoption of observability tools and improve the quality of our products by identifying and mitigating release engineering risks.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Drive continuous improvement in deployment automation opportunities\
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment functionality\
- Develop and implement development, build, or deployment tooling and scripts\
- Improve situational awareness of user-facing issues through monitoring and alerts\
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues\
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions\
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes as needed\
- Maintain accurate records and reports on project progress and status\
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and related technologies\
- Provide support for various Cyber projects within an integrated workforce\
- Work closely with developers, testers, and systems administrators to achieve a steady flow of changes to various platform tools and capabilities\
- Support the implementation of secure software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices\
- Participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness\
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliverables\
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure they align with business objectives\
- Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures\
- Develop and maintain documentation for all developed code and processes\
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure seamless project delivery\
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines\
- Other duties as assigned by management\
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, quality, and customer satisfaction\
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field\
- Experience in a DevOps environment with a focus on automation and orchestration\
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and microservices architecture\
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework\
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines\
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools\
- Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills\
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines\
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols\
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices\
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git\
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Bash\
- Understanding of web services, APIs, and data storage concepts\
- Previous experience working in an integrated workforce environment\
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and standards\
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders\
- Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance\
- Valid driver's license\
