Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

About the Job

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Room Attendant who takes pride in their work, has attention to detail, and can deliver high standards of cleanliness.

  • Cleaning guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and corridors to the hotel's high standards.
  • Ensuring all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities.
  • Refilling, replacing, and storing towels and linen correctly.
  • Reporting maintenance requirements.
  • Reporting any lost property following hotel procedures.
  • Maintaining, using, and storing equipment correctly.
  • Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning, ensuring safe work practices.

About You:

  • The ability and flexibility to work in a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with guests.
  • A good eye for detail with previous cleaning, customer service, or hospitality experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience with chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
  • Experience in a 4-star hotel is desirable.
  • Legal right to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
