About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team due to growth in our Tax and Business Advisory division.

The successful candidate will have the ability to prepare complex financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements. They will also assist junior team members in their professional development, fostering a client-focused team culture.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements.
  • Supporting junior team members in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
  • Fostering a client-focused team culture.
  • Attending training sessions to stay up-to-date with accounting standards and tax laws.

About You

  • You are degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce or similar qualifications.
  • Have attained or are nearing completion of a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
  • You are able to prepare complex income tax returns.
  • You have excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
  • You have a clear career progression path.
  • You are proficient in using Excel and other Microsoft Office products, MYOB and Xero software.
  • You possess high initiative and organizational skills, able to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
