  • This exciting opportunity is based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Auckland and offers a permanent, full-time position.

As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we're seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Specialist to join our Airport Operational Standards department. Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Systems Manager - Aircraft Turnaround Services, you'll play a critical role in supporting airport operations compliance, quality, and assurance activities, including data insights and analysis expertise.

The day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Providing high-quality identification and management of risk, including guidance to business areas to ensure the organization meets its requirements while achieving safety, financial, operational, and customer outcomes.
  • Supporting project work across Airport Services, including new port start-ups, port readiness, and ground service partner changes.
  • Identifying areas of non-compliance and safety concerns and working with stakeholders to propose solutions using outputs such as recommendations, reports, draft guidance, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyzing and interpreting a wide range of information referencing manuals and regulatory information.
  • Supporting the preparation of materials for monthly departmental safety subcommittee, ASC, WHS, CMC, and other safety committees representing Airport Services.
  • Delivering continuous improvement and projects through applying Human Factors and Quality & Compliance Frameworks.
  • Monitoring and reporting on safety performance, identifying trends, and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Providing ongoing risk assessment support.
  • Representing Airport Services during audits where Airport Customer Service functions are of primary focus.
