Azure Front Door Engineering Team

Our team owns and evolves the Azure Front Door (AFD) mission-critical service which underpins some of the world's most demanding workloads.

We're looking for a passionate frontend software engineer to help shape the Azure portal experience for AFD and related networking services In this role you will design and build high-impact portal features collaborate closely with cross-functional partners around the globe and influence the future of cloud networking and developer productivity.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in designing and implementing scalable and secure software solutions as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills We're excited about applications from motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-quality software features that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of overall code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development preferably in a cloud computing environment
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or C#
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
