We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our Residential Aged Care team in South Australia.
As a Personal Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to residents in our Residential Aged Care facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, grooming, and mobility.
- Assist Registered Nurses with documentation of vital signs, medication administration, and resident assessments.
- Support residents with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
- Contribute to infection control and prevention initiatives.
- Participate in palliative care, restorative care, and pain management programs.
- Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
**Requirements for Success:**
- Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent).
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
- Current Police Check (under 12 months old) and NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
