Job Description

Catering Attendants play a vital role in the success of our airline customers' flights by delivering memorable dining experiences to passengers onboard.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift items. Previous experience in food handling and preparation is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare meals according to presentation specifications using visual guides.
  • Stock Management: Stock airline carts with dry store items including equipment, packaged snacks, and beverages.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are in perfect condition, and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound Numerical Skills: Accurately manage inventory and stock levels.
  • Good Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with team members and customers.
  • Ability to Stand and Lift: Perform tasks that require standing and lifting items.
  • Shift Work Availability: Work a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Neat and Tidy Presentation: Maintain a clean and tidy appearance at all times.
