About the Role

We are seeking applications from qualified Mathematics and Science teachers who are enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to Christian schooling. Successful candidates will join a highly competent and supportive secondary teaching team.

This full-time position offers considerable opportunities for teachers to contribute to growth, improvement, and leadership.

About You

  • Be able to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
  • Be supportive of an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of curriculum and assessment practices within the faculty.Support staff in their daily practice, building a Christ-centred culture within the team.Lead professional development within the faculty to implement effective instructional practices.Ensure faculty compliance with NESA and school-based curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.Promote a culture of data informed practice within the faculty.Manage faculty resources.Model a high standard of personal instructional practice and curriculum compliance.As a member of our Leadership Team, support the Executive Team in the strategic growth priorities of the school.
