Community Engagement and Digital Literacy Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in the delivery of our community programs. As a Community Engagement and Digital Literacy Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs for adults, seniors, children, youth, CALD, and Home Library Service customers.
The successful candidate will have experience in program delivery, readers advisory services, and supervision. You will use your skills to deliver technology programs, provide excellent frontline customer service, and assist in the maintenance of the Community Information Database and creation of Community Information Directories.
About the Role:
- Develop and promote programs and activities suitable for a range of identified target groups
- Deliver technology programs for the community to build digital literacy skills
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Assist in leadership roles as shift supervisor
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent qualification
- Experience in program delivery, readers advisory services, and supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of information technology and troubleshooting ability
- Current driver's licence and COVID vaccinations
