Job Overview

We are seeking an architectural draftsperson to produce comprehensive plans that meet client objectives and design briefs.

The role involves preparation of town planning applications, documentation of working drawings, and ensuring alignment with local government regulations.

This position is critical due to the unique linguistic and cultural requirements of our clients, who predominantly speak Hazaragi with limited English proficiency. We aim to bridge the communication gap, ensuring accurate transmission of technical information and compliance with building codes.

The ideal candidate will have an Advanced Diploma of Building & Design (Architectural), two years plus industry experience in a similar role, and demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD. Creativeness, attention to detail, effective time management skills, and ability to work within deadlines are essential.

The successful candidate will also possess good written and verbal communication skills, be able to translate and interpret technical information between English and Hazaragi, and work collaboratively as part of a team with a professional approach to work life.
