Our laboratory is seeking a Senior Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to manage our core lab, ensuring standards and accreditation are met.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operation of our diagnostic lab, ensuring quality and customer service excellence.

  • Supervise and Train: A team of scientists in various haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, urinalysis, and parasitology departments.
  • Quality Management: Ensure all processes meet IANZ and ISO 17025, 9001 standards.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform routine testing and reporting efficiently.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Medical Science or equivalent degree.
  • Experience: Working in various departments within a diagnostic lab, including Haematology, Biochemistry, Endocrinology, Urinalysis, and Parasitology.
  • Management Experience: Leading and training staff effectively.

As a key member of our team, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
