We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Finance Officer. This position will be responsible for providing expert financial support to our team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and helping us achieve our business objectives.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a background in financial accounting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Assist with project bank account management, bank receipting & reconciliation, time management & reporting.
  • Internal/external audit requests and other accounting tasks as assigned within advised deadlines.
  • Assist team members and employees with investigations and queries related to the assigned function.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems and possess a basic understanding of accounting and finance processes, systems, and controls. Additionally, they will have knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and have worked in medium - large finance functions or a shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing expert financial support to the team.
  2. Assisting with project bank account management, bank receipting & reconciliation, time management & reporting.

  4. Assisting team members and employees with investigations and queries related to the assigned function.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A background in financial accounting.

  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • A basic understanding of accounting and finance processes, systems, and controls.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
