Allocator Job Description

The Allocator is a crucial role in our logistics team based in Brisbane. This motivated individual will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to industry standards and compliance guidelines.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers, and customers
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules, and compliance
  • Monitoring service schedules for fleet & completing accurate handovers for AM shift team each day
  • Completing yard checks and meeting safety KPIs

This role requires a high level of problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in similar positions working within the Logistics/Transport/Road industry highly regarded
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area highly regarded
  • Highly organized with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment
  • Highly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quickly
