Job Role: Night Shift Allocator

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Night Shift Allocator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about logistics and transportation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating and planning deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers. They will work closely with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective Communication: Develop strong relationships with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of manifests, delivery schedules, and compliance-related documents.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor service schedules for fleet vehicles and ensure accurate handovers to the AM shift team each day.
  • Yard Checks and Safety KPIs: Conduct thorough yard checks to meet safety standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in fast-paced situations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers, and customers.
  • Industry Experience: Have experience in similar positions within the Logistics/Transport/Road industry.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Possess strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area.
