Culinary Specialist Job Description

The role involves creating and presenting high-quality meals for airline passengers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare hot and cold meals for Business & Economy class passengers.
  • Manage multiple menus and bulk-prepare dishes for up to 10,000 passengers.
  • Stock control and minimizing food wastage.
  • Ensure taste, consistency, and presentation are at the highest standard.
  • Maintain a strictly hygienic work environment at all times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent industry experience.
  • Solid knife skills, knowledge of cooking principles and techniques.
  • Passion and drive to deliver high-quality, consistent food to customers.
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Motivated, hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and meet deadlines.
