About the role

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department. This includes ensuring that our store is well-presented, welcoming and engaging for customers, team members and the community.

About you and your skills
  • You have previous experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
  • Direct or indirect leadership experience is required as you will need to lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements.
  • Excellent department standards must be maintained, including monitoring stock, rotation routines, waste and quality control.
  • You must always look to simplify processes and adhere to strict audit, food safety and compliance standards.
  • You will drive a one-team culture that celebrates success and puts team members' health, safety and wellbeing first.
  • You will delight our customers with an outstanding shopping experience.
