This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Advisory and Tax Services team as a Senior Accountant. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial and management accounting reports for review by senior members of the team.
With increased practical experience and an improved theoretical base, this role offers a clear path for career progression.
About the RoleIn this challenging position, you will manage a diverse client portfolio and tackle technical and strategic challenges under the guidance of experienced managers and directors.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for a wide range of entities
- Preparing and reviewing BAS, GST, and FBT returns
- Advising clients on general accounting and taxation matters
To excel in this role, you will require:
- A relevant degree in Commerce, Accounting, or similar
- At least 3 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
- CA or CPA qualification (completed)
- Strong understanding of tax technical issues within a business advisory context
- Confident communicator with experience in face-to-face client interactions
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff
- Professional, personable, and proactive approach
