Come work with us in this newly created position as a Group Painter on a full-time basis. This role will be working across various aged care facilities in Southeast Queensland.

Residential Aged Care Facilities South East QLD - Nursing Homes in SE QLD

Your base of operations will be in our Ashmore facility, Gold Coast.

The Group Painter is responsible for ensuring the facilities present their best appearance through painting. This role involves performing routine paint touch-up tasks, paint projects, and ensuring work is completed in a secure, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

This is a full-time permanent role with benefits including a car allowance.

Day-to-day duties and responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify touch-up painting needs.
  • Review the facility's infrastructure to plan and complete painting projects across the residential aged care homes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, accessibility, and building codes.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruptions and ensure safety.
  • Manage and maintain equipment related to painting tasks.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers for specialized tasks.
About You:
  • Hold a resident-centric mindset in all aspects of your work.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and develop based on feedback.
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to apply.
  • Trade Certification as a Painter is preferred.

This is a physical role involving bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items. You must perform these tasks safely without risk of injury.
