Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our NSW team.

As an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist, you will work across the Sydney metro and Western Sydney areas, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with experienced technicians and apprentices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards.
  • Set up and maintain communications systems to support business growth.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of lighting systems and emergency egress lighting for safe and efficient operation.
  • Install, test, and commission fibre optic and copper infrastructure to meet business needs.
  • Promote a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Deliver exceptional workmanship to exceed client expectations.
  • Mentor and train apprentices to develop their skills.
  • Utilise strong communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • UEE40420 certification as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician.
  • A valid Electrical Licence within NSW.
  • A WHMIS White Card.
  • Several years of industry experience in the electrical and communications industry, specifically working within data centres.
  • The ability to perform electrical maintenance in commercial and industrial spaces.
  • Excellent safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to work on-call.
  • A baseline/NV1 security clearance.
