Job Title: Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to cover a defined geographic area, spanning the Northern New South Wales region from the Northern Beaches to Byron Bay.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the tourism industry and a knack for sales and account management. They will develop and implement targeted sales strategies for key accounts, build strong relationships with these accounts through regular contact and support, and provide comprehensive training to agents via weekly sessions and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans tailored to key accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts through regular communication and support
- Provide in-depth training to agents via regular workshops and presentations
- Ensure effective use and placement of marketing materials within key account agencies
- Pursue new business opportunities and trade/consumer events that benefit our business
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities, providing strategic feedback to management
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM entries, ensuring timely reporting
- Foster group business from inception to departure, maintaining agent contact throughout
- Manage sales performance effectively, adhering to established policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management and account management
- Desirable experience in the tourism industry
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Ability to analyze market trends and provide strategic feedback
- Confident presenter with excellent presentation skills
