We are seeking an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team at the Friendly Society Private Hospital. As a key member of our surgical unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and demonstrating strong clinical skills in the management of acutely unwell post-surgery patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing clinical decision-making and hands-on care-giving skills to manage a range of acute surgical conditions.
- Apply clinical assessment procedures to evaluate patient health status, identifying and implementing timely care interventions for optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical peers, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain effective interpersonal and communication skills to enhance patient care, accuracy of clinical records, and team trust.
- Comply with and apply current policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to best practice patient outcomes.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated acute surgical care experience, including patient management following surgical interventions.
- Relevant medical experience in an acute environment, showcasing knowledge and skills transferable to a surgical unit.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, promote confidence, and satisfaction with patients, families, and support persons.
