We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical unit with strong clinical skills for management of acutely unwell post-surgery patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care and demonstrate a level of skill in clinical decision making and care giving for a range of acute post-surgery conditions.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to effectively communicate, share information and promote confidence and satisfaction with patients, families' and support persons.
- Manage patient care following surgical interventions which include general, urological, vascular and endocrinological surgery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families and support persons to build trust and promote confidence.
- Tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated acute surgical care experience.
- Relevant medical experience gained in an acute environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
