Job DescriptionWe are seeking qualified and experienced Personal Carers to join our team at our new 180 bed aged care residence based in Turvey Park. As a Personal Carer, you will play a vital role in providing a high standard of direct care to residents, including the administration of medications as delegated and completion of documentation using our business systems.
You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to maintain and enhance residents' health and wellbeing, capabilities, independence, choice, privacy, dignity, and safety. Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day personal care activities to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Administer medications as delegated and complete documentation using our business systems.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights, across various days.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in aged care or a related field, preferably with a focus on palliative care.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends.
- Good computer literacy and ability to accurately update resident progress notes.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- A valid Police Check for unsupervised care of vulnerable people, not older than 12 months.
- Current COVID Vaccination.
