As a café volunteer at a residential aged care home, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides essential support to the elderly residents.

Your key responsibilities will include setting up cups and saucers, operating a pod machine to make coffee, and serving light refreshments to our valued clients.

During your social visits, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our residents, helping to combat feelings of isolation and improve their overall quality of life.

We are an independent charity committed to enhancing the lives of people in need, including older adults. Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting our clients and promoting community connections.

To be eligible for this role, you must be available to work between Monday and Friday, 9am-4pm, and be at least 18 years old. You will also need to undergo a National Volunteer Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Key Requirements
  • Available for a minimum of 5 hours per week
  • Commitment to working between Monday and Friday, 9am-4pm
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
