Geriatric Medicine Opportunity

We are seeking six advanced trainees to fill a 24-month accredited training position in Geriatrics.

The role will involve participation in a range of core geriatric medicine rotations, including continence service, community geriatric medicine program and Perioperative Medicine clinic.

Trainees will have opportunities to teach medical students through Deakin University Medical School and participate in leadership development via subacute chief registrar role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in clinical rotations and gaining experience in geriatric medicine
  • Developing teaching and leadership skills through working with medical students and participating in the subacute chief registrar role
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
