About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Practitioner - Trauma-Informed Care to join our team in Far North Coast, NSW. As a key member of our Intensive Therapeutic Care programs, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating functions to ensure high-quality therapeutic care is consistently applied across programs, services, and practice.

  • Engage in intake, assessment, and outcome processes for children and young people in our Programs
  • Develop and review clinical formulations, therapeutic plans, and treatment plans, providing expert guidance on high-risk Safety and Case Plans
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver therapy sessions when needed
  • Offer psychoeducation and training sessions
  • Manage a caseload of young people, employing creative strategies in planning and evaluating evidence-based programs tailored to individual therapeutic needs
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong background in clinical practice, preferably with experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
