Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SOE Engineer to join our Endpoint Engineering team, who will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of customers' endpoint systems with minimal direction and engaging in project work as required.

This role involves working closely with clients to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring timely and professional responses to technical issues, and contributing to the development of a culture that encourages interaction and promotes social activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Active Directory – Group Policy Management, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch.
  • Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and endpoint configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment-wide configurations, and automation scripts through enterprise-grade endpoint management platforms.
  • Ensuring outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues.
  • Operating in and contributing to the winning culture of a high-performing team, identifying service improvements, efficiencies, and cost reductions for Datacom customers, and following best practice methodologies and adhering to recognised ITIL processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation, with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in MECM.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Windows Modern Desktop technologies, good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS, certificate services, and Enterprise applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
