Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Portland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career as an engineer, working on challenging projects from a great regional hub.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and performing electrical engineering services that meet statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. They will also assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.

This role provides electrical engineering services to our customers and may provide technical support and supervision within the electrical team. The ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, effective technical and practical engineering skills, and experience in Mining, Minerals or Metals.

The successful candidate will also have a good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications, competent use of electrical engineering specific software, and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility to attain this registration within 6 months.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
