Concrete Labourer Job Description

We are seeking experienced Concrete Labourers to work on civil subdivision projects, assisting with the installation of sewer and stormwater infrastructure, as well as general concrete works.

The role involves:

  • Assisting with excavation, preparation, and shoring of drainage trenches
  • Laying and grading pipes for stormwater and sewer drainage
  • Mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete footings, surrounds, access pits, and structures
  • Operating hand tools and small-powered tools (e.g., concrete saws, plate compactors)
  • Cleaning and maintaining site, tools, and working areas
  • FOLLOWING safety protocols, wearing PPE, and working as part of a small onsite crew

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Reliable experience in Civil Construction advantageous
  • White / Blue Card required
  • Confined Spaces Certification (mandatory)
  • Loader and Quick Cut Certifications advantageous
  • Physically Fit
  • Hardworking, reliable, presentable, and punctual individual
  • Desirable Civil Machinery certifications or experience but not essential
  • Ability to commit to Monday - Friday schedule
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Good Work Ethic
