Restaurant Operations Manager

A key member of our team, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, this role requires a strong leader who can motivate and inspire our team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in leading and directing all facets of daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and staff engagement.
- Contribute to inventory management, including food, beverage, and merchandise, to maintain financial and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of new staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Coach and counsel existing staff and managers to promote whole-team success and a positive work environment.
- Participate in the weekly rostering process and time-management for hourly team members, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient scheduling.
- Maintain a professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
- Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean, and maintained on a regular basis.
- Uphold restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards at all times, including handling chemicals safely.
- Ensure a safe and harassment-free environment for all Team Members and Managers.
- Understand, comply with, and ensure team members are accountable for all company policies, procedures, and operating standards, as well as relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- At least 2 years' management experience in a high-volume atmosphere, preferably in fast-casual dining.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, with the ability to resolve problems and communicate effectively with guests.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to serving others in the community.
- Acts with integrity and treats others with respect, upholding the values of Wahlburgers.
- Familiar with local liquor licensing laws and holds a valid RSA.
- Australian resident or current work visa holder.
