Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work with our dedicated team in a busy and friendly General Practice environment.

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities

This role involves providing nursing care for patients across the lifespan, including vaccinations, wound care, and general treatment room duties. You will also be responsible for triaging patients, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective infection control practices.

  1. Immunisations: Provide childhood, employment, travel, and COVID-19 vaccinations as required.
  2. Wound care: Assess, manage, and provide wound care for patients as needed.
  3. Patient triage: Assess patient needs and prioritise their care accordingly.
  4. Sterilisation and infection control implementation: Ensure effective sterilisation and infection control practices in the practice setting.
  5. General Treatment room duties: Assist with routine and emergency procedures in the treatment room.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience working in a General Practice or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
