Green Impact Specialist

The Sustainability Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting organisational strategic and operational success.
They will be responsible for embedding sustainable purchasing practices, ensuring suppliers implement Net Zero Carbon Tools, and providing accurate carbon emissions data to help maximise and measure positive impact throughout buying and contracting activities.
The role holder will influence and build strong working relationships with members of relevant task and finish/steering groups that have been set up to plan and implement necessary carbon reduction strategies.
They will also identify areas where Procurement can add value in terms of sustainable, carbon-reducing solutions in support of organisational sustainability plans and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Embed sustainable purchasing practices across the organisation

- Provide accurate carbon emissions data to support organisational sustainability plans
- Influence and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
