About the Role

At OPS Garrison Lending Operations Pty Ltd, we're seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences to our broker partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of existing or prospective customers, determining the degree of risk involved, and communicating credit decisions clearly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments of customers, examining bank statement transactions and credit history on a case-by-case basis.
  • Deliver timely and effective communication of credit decisions, ensuring reasoning is clearly understood for both approvals and declines.
  • Meet service level agreement times for transaction turnarounds.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a credit analyst, with a strong track record of assessing creditworthiness and determining risk.
  • Previous experience with Delegated Lending Authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant degree in accounting, economics, or banking and finance preferred.
