Are you a highly skilled professional seeking a challenging role in the logistics industry? Northline, an experienced Australian-based global logistics business, is looking for a dedicated Freight Logistics Coordinator to join our Darwin team.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
About the RoleWe are seeking an individual with strong multi-tasking skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment. As a Freight Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to our customers, loading and unloading a variety of freight, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver customer's freight accurately and on time;
- Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
- Communicate effectively with the depot (manager/supervisor) to ensure seamless operations;
- Maintain accurate truck logs to comply with state legislation;
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently;
- Handle freight and curtain gates manually.
- Hold a current and valid HR Licence;
- Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF);
- Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
- Prior experience in the transportation industry, particularly with general freight carriers, is highly regarded;
- Demonstrate ability to work in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environments;
- Knowledge of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods is an asset.
